About Me

Hello!

My name is Corrina Zandakis. We are all on different journeys and sometimes we need a walking partner to help us stay on course. I want to understand where you are and where you want to be and then help you find ways to get there. Past clients have said I bring humor and warmth into my sessions with clients. I do my best to make connections with all my clients in an authentic way.

I'm a licensed clinical social worker. My bachelor's degrees are in psychology and multicultural queer studies from Humboldt State University. I graduated from California State University-Monterey Bay with my Master of Social Work degree. Since graduating, I've had the opportunity to work in many different settings. From running therapy groups about sexual assault trauma, anxiety, and eating disorders to having worked individually with people experiencing depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, poor body image, eating disorders, trauma, and communication difficulties, I've worked with a diverse array of people experiencing many challenges. I use many different techniques pulled from various psychological theoretical frameworks.

I have lived in just about every part of our great state-growing up in the Inland Empire, going to school in coastal northern California, and living briefly in the Bay Area. Currently, I live on the central coast with my wife who is an elementary school teacher. We have a cat named Skye and a dog named Adelaide. I enjoy spending time doing puzzles, reading fantasy books, playing board games, hiking, and camping.
